These tools are intended for legitimate diagnostics, troubleshooting and learning. Only test systems you own, administer, or are authorized to test.
1. Operator and acceptance
OCS Ping is operated by One Core Spark SRL, a company established in Romania, CUI/CIF 39824776, registered office at Bd. Constantin Brancoveanu nr. 116, Sector 4, Bucharest, Romania. By using OCS Ping, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
OCS Ping provides technical utilities such as public-IP information, IPv4/IPv6 connectivity checks, TCP port checks, speed measurements, DNS lookups, SSL/TLS inspection, HTTP checks and forward/reverse DNS resolution and IP-to-ASN/BGP-origin lookup. Results are generated from the perspective of the OCS Ping server and/or your browser and can vary because of routing, firewalls, DNS caching, hosting limitations, congestion and remote-system behavior.
3. Authorized and lawful use
You are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful in your jurisdiction and that you have permission to test the target you submit. You must not use OCS Ping to facilitate unauthorized access, intrusive scanning, disruption, harassment, evasion of security controls, denial-of-service activity, exploitation, credential attacks or any other abusive or unlawful conduct.
4. Automated use and rate limits
Automated access that bypasses interface controls, rate limits or technical safeguards is prohibited unless the Operator has expressly authorized it. We may restrict, throttle or block requests that appear abusive or that threaten service reliability or third parties.
5. Accuracy and diagnostic limitations
Results are informational and represent a point-in-time observation. An “open”, “closed”, “online”, “offline”, latency, DNS, SSL or speed result is not a guarantee of availability, security, compliance, performance or future behavior. A filtered port, firewall, proxy, CDN, anycast route, DNS cache, browser policy or hosting limit can affect results.
6. Speed Test
Speed results measure the path between your device and OCS Ping infrastructure. They are not a universal measurement of your internet service and may be limited by the OCS Ping server, your device, Wi-Fi, browser, network path or temporary congestion. Running a speed test transfers data and may count against metered or mobile-data allowances.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue all or part of the service, introduce new safeguards, or change technical limits without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. We may also perform maintenance or temporarily disable a tool to protect the service or third parties.
8. Intellectual property
OCS Ping branding, original interface elements, application code and site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless otherwise stated. Third-party names, protocols and standards remain the property of their respective owners. You may not misrepresent an unaffiliated service as an official OCS Ping service.
9. Privacy and device storage
Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, Cookie & Storage Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, which explain the limited technical data, local device storage and responsible-use rules for OCS Ping.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OCS Ping is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every result will be complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular technical, security, legal or commercial decision. Nothing on OCS Ping constitutes professional legal, cybersecurity certification or internet-service-provider advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use OCS Ping, reliance on diagnostic results, third-party systems, or user misuse. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by mandatory law.
12. Third-party systems and targets
Diagnostic requests may interact with third-party public systems selected by you. The Operator does not control those systems and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or policies. Your authorization to use OCS Ping does not grant permission to test any third-party system.
13. Governing law and mandatory rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that cannot lawfully be waived in their country of residence. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law remain competent to resolve disputes.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply to subsequent use, subject to mandatory law.
