A quick health check for a domain

Domain Checker combines several common checks into one result. It looks for IPv4 and IPv6 address records, authoritative nameservers, mail exchangers and basic TCP reachability for standard HTTP and HTTPS ports.

Use it as a first diagnostic step when a domain has recently changed hosting, DNS or mail configuration. For record-level detail or certificate and redirect information, continue with the dedicated tools linked below.

FAQ

Common questions

Can a domain work without an AAAA record?

Yes. A domain can operate over IPv4 only. An AAAA record is used when the host is reachable over IPv6.

Does an MX record prove email is working?

No. It shows the published mail routing records, but it does not test mailbox delivery, authentication or spam filtering.

Why can DNS be correct while the website is still down?

The address records can resolve correctly even if the web server, firewall, TLS configuration or application is unavailable.
