Understanding your public IP address
Your public IP address is the address that the OCS Ping server sees for your current connection. It may belong directly to your internet provider, a mobile carrier, a corporate gateway, a VPN or another proxy service.
An IPv4 address is typically written as four decimal numbers, while IPv6 uses a longer hexadecimal format. Seeing an IPv6 address here means this specific request reached OCS Ping over IPv6; it does not by itself prove that every destination is reachable over IPv6.
