OCS Ping does not use advertising, cross-site tracking or analytics storage in this build. The small notice shown on the site is informational and does not ask you to consent to marketing or analytics technologies.
1. What this policy covers
“Cookies” is often used as a general term for technologies that store or access information on a device. OCS Ping currently uses limited first-party browser local storage for preferences you interact with. It does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies.

3. What OCS Ping does not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site behavioral tracking.
- No third-party analytics in the current build.
- No fingerprinting for advertising or profiling.
- No sale of browser or usage data.
4. Hosting and security infrastructure
Your hosting provider, reverse proxy, CDN, firewall or other infrastructure service may set strictly necessary technical cookies or similar identifiers depending on how the domain is configured. Those technologies are outside the application code and should be reviewed whenever the hosting stack changes.
5. Managing storage
You can delete OCS Ping local storage and normal browser cache at any time through your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing site data resets local preferences. OCS Ping v1.5 does not register an application service worker or create a custom offline cache; installations use the web app manifest and the capabilities provided by your browser/platform.
6. Future analytics or advertising
If OCS Ping later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or other storage that requires consent under applicable law, those technologies must remain disabled until the appropriate consent mechanism and policy update are deployed. Where consent is required, refusing or withdrawing consent will be made as straightforward as granting it.
